Standard Moogie Math Version History (v1.0-3.00)

  • Version 1.00: Moogie Math is born and first used in the classroom! (February-March 1997)
  • Version 1.21: Added Track Record and Confidence Levels
  • Version 1.22: On Quick Test missed answers can no longer be re-tried. 
  • Version 1.23: Internal changes and fractions written out as words now include hyphens
  • Version 1.24: Added Formulas Help Window (Aug. 1997)
  • Version 1.25: Fixed "Today's Progress."  (Sept. 2, 1997)
  • Version 1.30: Added Graphics in Text lines -- for 4th grade questions (i.e., patterns),
    Corrected dbl-click on Prize List in Shopping Form to not buy prize unless enough credits exist, Fixed EXIT button on Start-Up screen to reactivate after "New User" is clicked. (10/3/97)
  • Version 1.31: Added button to hide Alert Window and "Wrong Answer Box" (instead of requiring users to drag it out of the way to view a missed problem) (Dec. '97)
  • Version 1.40: Changed Customization window. Added Test Sound Button. Added viewing and editing of the .INI file and viewing of Log file from within the application, Made "Password Required" one button - all or no drives. Teachers can now select problem types to hide for certain databases. Added ability for students to change their password, Other internal changes. (Jan. '98)
  • Version 1.5: Added Classroom Reports, Added "Require Authorization to Change Password," Added Line Graph on Track Record, Sounds may be added to \stdsound and \othrsnds subdirectories. Removed Track Record CLEAR button. 
  • Version 1.7: Moogie Math Standard now shares the same version number as Moogie Math PLUS, starting with version 2.7. 
  • Version 2.7: Teacher can Force Students to work on Objectives, Added Teacher Network items, Added Windows Help File.
  • Version 2.71: Added Student File Manager, Redesigned the "New User" screen, Modified the recommendation of where students should work.
  • Version 2.72: Now possible for students to select their directory to find their Tally file, Tally Files now searched automatically in all subdirectories, Added "Save Steps" and "Auto Collect is easier if..." to Classroom Reports, Added "Additional Information" button to Customize | Tally Files page, other internal changes.
  • Version 3.00: Internal changes including fixing the big red arrow which points to the unit students should work in.
